| Hi there! I’m Virginia and I’m a spritely lil spark plug from Kansas! I love the wind in my hair, sunshine on my shoulders, and being left breathless. The little things bring me joy and I often find them outdoors. Big ideas and big words reel me in, but deep conversation and understanding is what keeps me. I currently work as a sewing machine mechanic – I’m a scientist at heart, but an engineer by nature. I’m working on my Bachelor’s in Sociology as well. While my mind is important, my body is the temple that it resides in. I love to work out, focusing on long term mobility and strength; I consider myself acrobatic, if not flexible. I think it’s important to be comfortable in your skin, so that you can facilitate growth within your mind and spirit. I think that a person’s choice in music or literature is like a snapshot of their true character. Some of my favorite bands are the Black Keys, Manchester Orchestra, Front Porch Step and Pearl Jam. I like to read sci-fi and fantasy, along with memoirs and biographies. Send me a playlist or a must-read list! I love to laugh, and to be challenged. I like to be focused, to think before I answer, and to learn while I’m still young. As I age, I’m realizing just how little I know.
